I am Amanda, (dahanus1 on IMLM). I am married to Jason, and we live in Greenwood. I am currently a SAHM, but am slooooowly working towards a possible career in photography as well : ) We have 5 children between us-- and one due in just a few short weeks-- the perfect Brady Bunch! I never sleep, and spend a little too much time on facebook.

Hi, I'm Meg. Some of you might remember me from IM as Merykk or AntaresNova. I have a 4 year old daughter and a 10 month old son with whom I am at home ALL THE TIME. My kids are amazing, but I was definitely not cut out to be a full-time homemaker. Luckily, I have an incredible and supportive husband who takes over when he gets home from work. We've been together over 6 years, married for 4 1/2.

I am halfway through a Nonprofit Management degree, but probably won't go back to finish it. Instead, I've been thinking about certifying as a postpartum doula and earning a degree in herbalism. I just started blending my own teas, so look out for an Etsy shop soon.

My beliefs/philosophies tend toward the Earth-friendly, as another poster put it, and Buddhist. Definitely in the crunchy camp, though I put less into practice than I would prefer.

It's nice to see some of my favorite local moms on a discussion board again!

Hi everyone! I'm so glad to be here (thanks, JennHW).
I'm Lisa! I'm so glad to see some folks from the old IM (pitbull, Meg)!

Although I consider myself a proud liberal, I truly think that may just be because I'm in Indiana. I'd probably be considered a moderate anywhere else. I live in the Midtown area (Meridian Kessler) with my dh, 2 children (6 yo ds and 4 yo dd), 1 pitbull and 2 fish.

I watch almost no TV, except for WordGirl with the youngins. I love to read and I'm fond of Sudoku. I maintain my CPA license and will probably go back to work in the nonprofit sector (my specialty area) in a couple of years. In the meantime, I volunteer for various neighborhood groups, serving as Treasurer and whatever other side projects I can accomplish.

Right now my passion is being the best mom I can be. I fail often, but never give up!

I'm Joyce. I have 3 kiddos. 9, 2 1/2 & almost 9 months. I worked full time until I had my last and now I have transitioned into a SAHM. I won't lie, it's challenging at times but I love having the opportunity to be home with them. I've been married to dh for almost 3 years (2nd marriage for me).

Let's see I love to read but seldom get to read anything beyond kids books these days.lol Also love to shop, workout and watch movies.

I am Valorie mom to two girls. I am a waldorf inspired mother, trying to find my way in this busy world we live in. A friend of mine calls me a Renissance woman, but I just want to make sure my girls have the purest upbringing. I sew, knit, photograph, cook, and craft.

Hi Ladies! I am Taryn (formerly ethansmom on IMLM, though I haven't posted on there in close to a year, I think). I have an almost-5-yr-old son and a 2.5 yr-old daughter. I am a WAHM and am pretty active in my kids' co-op preschool. I am NOT a fan of snow or winter and around this time of year start getting really antsy to open up all the windows (hooray for days like today!) and get out in the garden!

Hi I'm Jen (yes another one) I was on IM back before the switch, stayed away quite awhile, then lurked a bit and just recently kind of started trying to post more, but it's so big and spread out over there now it overwhelms me. I like this clean layout here!
I've got a 2 year old daughter, and a little boy on the way, due at the end of April. Been married 10 years to my Swedish import and live on the east side. I'm semi-crunchy (is that a word?) I work at home as the "office" for a national association, which allows me a lot of flexibility to spend time with my girl. I sew, read, cook, bake, decorate and organize for hobbies.

I am a homemaker and mama to five, one of whom just happens to be older and taller than me My boys are 12, 7, 5, and 13 months (the older, taller one is 33, in case ya wondered). We rock out outside of Indy proper with our two cats and a small tribe of dustbunnies. I sound like a phone sex operator but look like a 14-year-old. I'm a walking conundrum! I like to read and write and I'm a great friend. I'm musically inclined (I am a member of Capital City Chorus, I can also play a few instruments and sing things besides barbershop). Since this is personal ad style, I will also add that I'm 4'10.5", have long hair, love a sense of humor and spending time outdoors...oh and gifts, let's not forget the gifts!

I'm a hippie-dippy fruitloop and proud of it! Homebirther, breastfeed til college, cloth diapers when I can, sling and carry little ones everywhere, organic food (when I can afford it), clean everything with vinegar:water, barefoot constantly, I'm down with all that jazz. I'm open-minded and very easy-going. I'm oft-misunderstood (people take me way too seriously!). That's all I can think of. Got questions, just ask!

This is Michelle, music teacher and mother to two (girl 7 and boy 5). I was on IM a very long time ago, but I don't have enough time in my day to be very active on these boards.

I teach music at various preschools and I also do mommy-and-me music classes in my home in Fishers for kids birth-6 years. I sing in the Capital City Chorus and I sing at kids' parties and I partially homeschool my daughter (Hoosier Academy) and I'm a wreck most of the time because I'm way too busy. I like gardening and music and healthy food and music and going out and music and I would read if I had time. Oh, and I'm a vegetarian, and I'm Australian.
