Hello everyne. A fried told me about this site so I thought I chek it out an give it a try. I like what I see,lol..maybe I can make some good (and real ) friends here. Not fals ones that step yo in the back..anywais. I am a Mom,I hav 9 kids,8 living,oldest is 28 youngest just turned 8..I am also a grandma off 5...I am from germany,hence my username,and have been living here in the uS since 1990......Just thought I introduce myself and now I go and will check out the site. Hi everyone! I'm Kristen (kristen1222 on the other site). I'm married, and I stay home with our three kids - 8 year old boy/girl twins and my baby, who turned one last week. I'm pretty low-key online, don't do a lot of posting, but I do a TON of reading and digesting what everyone has to say.
I've missed many of the names I see here, particularly those who challenged my way of thinking. I'm very traditional when it comes to marriage and parenting, but many of you really opened my eyes to other ways of thinking about and doing things, which is what I loved most about IndyMoms. I'm not much for debating, but love reading an intelligent discussion and sometimes chiming in. I'm passionate about some issues - religion (I'm Christian), race (I'm black) and education (several administrators and teachers in my family and I'm really active at my kids' school) - especially if I have personal experiences to share.

Hi Ladies!
I'm Danielle. I have one little boy, Bentley (14 months). I am currently a SAHM, but I am starting school this Fall at Ivy Tech. So I'll be a full time mom and a full time student! I'm going for nursing! I sometimes forget about these sites so I'm definitely going to try and stay on it :]

HI everyone! Long time indymom here, finally made my way over here. MLM has gotten borrring! My name is LeeAnn and I am married with 3 kids. A 9, 4 and 1 year old. I recently just started back to school part time and I am a stay at home mom! Looking forward to this site and excited to see some familiar faces!

Yay! So many familiar names. I've missed you all! Most of you probably don't know/remember me. I'm Ellen (enlightene on other site, as well). I'm a come and go kind of chic. (Oh I just realized that doesn't sound right) I'm 30; married 7 years (in Oct) and have 2 boys, DS1 is 5 and our new one is 6 weeks. That has been interesting. I'm a WOHM, on maternity leave now, and like to dabble in anything artsy. And anything really. I'm the shy one sitting in the corner trying to avoid eye contact but once I get to know you I probably won't shut up and if I've had a drink or two, then I may even get philosophical and try to hug you...multiple times. So let's have a drink and hug. =)

I don't want to interfere with anyone's hugging arrangement.  ALF, I joined SHHH on the other site but never made it to any of the MNOs. I hear it is on FB now? I don't do the FB thing and didn't know if the MNOs are posted on here as well. |
