Jen, I think you should change the name to "Hoosier Thinking Mamas". The members (thus far) are smart and courteous and seem to consider the impact of their responses, and I really like that. It is GREAT to be able to post without being taken apart! Even when I disagree with positions, I really like all of the people (that I recognize) on here. I like the other people too, but I think some people are using different names. Like . . . um . . . me. |

Why lowercase because I wanted it to be less Hoosier more mama but I do see how it read as an L. I might re look at the font selection thanks for pointing that out. Aw, I hope you don't change it. I thought of that when I read it "less Hoosier, more Mama" |

I found out I can post from my HTC incredible without having to go through all the trouble of going to Opera Mini (which I don't really like anyway). Thanks, Jen, for using your "exalt" on me. Oh, that's great to know. How- do you need an app? Or do you just go to the Web? |

I will tell you what I want! Up at the top now is this block of crap...it has "most recent posts" or some such stuff and it is annoying the jebeebuz out of me. It was not there until late this morning! Two thumbs way down!

About the banner (copied from another thread):
This is a free discussion board, and that means ads unless I pay for it, which I can't really afford to do at this point unless the community contributes donations for it.
I don't know why the ads didn't show up until just recently. I was actually wondering that myself! Perhaps it only happens once a board reaches a certain number of pageviews or something; I really don't know. It wasn't anything I changed in the settings.
Personally, I would get rid of it, but again . . . that's not possible unless someone pays for ad-free credits. Tell you what, though; I do have one other option for how the ads display, so let me switch to that and see what you ladies think.

 After it was fixed yesterday it was just a thin blue generic ProBoards banner. Now it has ads. What is wrong with my Firefox? Usually it blocks stuff like that. The generic blue banner was okay, it didn't blink and stuff. Fixed ads don't bug me much anyway. I loathe blinkies. Ah well, really, I'm not complaining-complaining, honest! |

My mozilla is still adblocking like a pro. I'm very happy with the new "thinner" banner of ads that I don't see.
