I'm getting used to this layout, and wanted to get some ideas of how you browse this site.
I noticed I was tending to just scan down the far right where is lists the topic and last poster - but that only lists the thread that was last commented on in that category. There may be several "active" threads in that category, but you don't see them unless you click into the category.
So I'm kind of scanning down the number of posts in each one to see if I am missing anything.
How are you keeping up with new posts and topics?

I click on the "new posts" button in the top bar (right next to the "home" button) Then it lists all the new posts in a straight, easy to access list. I then open each one in a new tab (yay for ctrl-click) by clicking on "new" instead of the thread title and then read through them.
Once I've done that, if I return and there's nothing new, I go to the home page, and see if there's a category that appeals to me, or if I have something I want to post.
I just really love the ability to go directly to the newest posts within a thread.

I'd be here for two hours trying to explain the craziness in my head that is post-reading strategy. So I will spare you.

Just another tip . . . if you go to your profile, it will show the last five threads you've replied to. Or you can enter in however many you'd like to see and hit "submit" (I don't know if there's a limit).
