I agree with the others about giving it some time. The moms on here that I know I originally met through IMLM, and then got to really know them through a crafting group. That group has grown in numbers over the years and grown closer. We all have a lot in common as far as religious and political views, and even if we don't agree with something we're still OK with it. It is a little nerve wracking and awkward to meet new people, but it can be worth it in the end. I'm not into the big MNOs, it's a little overwhelming for me, but when I have gone I have met some pretty awesome people.

I knew a couple of moms from the other board that I met here and there and my best daycare moms came to me through there. I'm not sure of who is all on here yet so I don't know if I know anyone. I rarely get out of the house these days so it's rare that I get to meet anyone.

playdates, playdates, playdates! This is my only outlet most weeks since I work from home and usually only see our DCP and my kids during the day. We have a weekly one on the westside if anyone is interested (Brownsburg area)...and we meet in the evenings

The first I met because I invited myself and little one over for spot sharing (I was completely worried she would think I was a total freak) she didn't. Then I went for MNO. THE BEST THING EVER! I suck at names so everyone will be stuck in my head as their screen name. I would love to have a play date.
