Quick walk through to put up an avatar- Go to www.photobucket.com, register or log in with facebook. Click the green upload now button and find some pictures from your computer to upload to your account. Once the picture you want is there then click on it. Over to the right it will say "Share this photo" Click the URL under "direct link. It will turn yellow and say copied. Now go to profile here and click "modify profile" paste the url in the box marked avatar url. Enter 100 in the avatar height and width boxes. Now go back up and enter your password in the Password (again) box, scroll down allllll the way and click Modify Profile. If you picture is not square, you might have to tweak the height or width to make it look right. Mine is 100 x75. Just remember to enter your password each time so the changes will take. Hope that helps those of you still having trouble! |

I am too lazy to put any avatars. I get 10-15 minutes at the time, and I would rather read and post

JenS, thank you, that helped so much!! When I was in photobucket, I was just right-clicking and copying image location. When I used that little direct link box, it worked perfectly! Thank you!

I sure can't get the avatar to work. I'm using picasa and have the pic set to anyone that has the link can view it... It's like when I modify my profile, the settings aren't being saved.
