Troll or trainwreck. lol But wait, what if it is a troll RIDING the train that wrecks? I've known a few of those... ROFL You're aboslutely right. We need a troll on a train category!  Just a general comment about "trainwrecks"...I think we can all be one...but it should be a rare occurrence....not every single day. And not the same exact (fixable) trainwreck all the time. Oh, and if I "knew" you and didnt invite you it isn't necessarily because I thought you were a trainwreck or a troll...it might just be because I didn't notice a post of yours as I was getting on less and less, so I didn't think to send a PM. If I missed someone and they are a nurse, then I am extra sorry, cause I am all about nurse recruitment  |

Hey all! I'm excited to check out this site with all the not-so-awesome changes coming to MLM! I'm keeping my same username that I had over there. I'm Michele, and I have four wonderful kids, three boys and a girl. My younger two are b/g twins who are 6 years old. My older two are 13 and 10 years old. I have an amazing husband who works hard to allow me to stay home. We have two crazy little terriers to add to the chaos that is our life! |

Hi. Since everyone else seems to be over here, I figured I would join as well. Otherwise, where else will I go to get advice? I'm Amanda. Technically I am a SAHM, but I am in school full time (enjoying my summer vacation!) I have 4 kids...2 girls and 2 boys....ages 6-3.5 wks.

Hey ladies, hope you don't mind if a non-but-used-to-be-Indy mama comes to chat with you. I keep moving and MLM was one thing that was pretty constant, despite the changes. That said, I am stoked to be here and see familiar faces. Fun!
Anyways, my name is Rebecca. We live in Switzerland and we're about to move to France into a house we are buying. Hopefully we'll be there a while. We have seven children, the two babies keep me in a chair a lot of the time, atleast for now.
I hope to start a garden soon so I'll be looking for gardening tips!

Wow Rebecca!! Your life sounds so nice. I've never been to Switzerland or France but they look so wonderful in movies and on travel brochures. I'm picturing a little cottage with a beautiful garden!!!

Hello! I'm also a non-but-used-to-be-Indy-mom! I have been on indymoms from the beginning, or very early on. We moved to Northern colorado almost 3 years ago. I have 2 girls ages 5&7. They are happy and insane. I've been married almost 14 years - yikes! I love craft beer and I'm a wanna be hippie. Cheers! |

I didn't get a special invite, so I'm crashing the party. I'm LittleKMom (aka LittleKMom--oh wait, that's the same. No explanation needed). I have two sweet girls, one nearly 4 and the other 19 months (at the moment I write this).
About me? I am a mostly-SAHM who sits at home and eats bonbons--isn't that what all SAHMS do? DH seems to think so. Anyway, I like to do crafty things and music-y things and generally obsess about my children.

Thanks for the welcome! Tigger, there really are picturesque places, especially in Switzerland...they are very mindful about what is built and where and how it will affect everything. the house is an old "farmhouse" in Alsace. My husband will still be commuting to Zurich for work, and he'll be working with the train Wifi. It's along commute, we're NUTS, but it seems like a good idea. The housing is half as much in cost where we're going, totally could not afford a Swiss one...anyways, yada yada. Alf, I guess I wouldn't be here if DH weren't French. I feel like so much of what I believe has been changed or affected by living here. I can bet that I will have enough to say about it from time to time to annoy anyone --how it has affected how I view American life. Hikingmommy, I think I remember you, your old screenname is right there on the tip of my brain! ? Tracy, I was RebeccaD first, now evangelica. I'm glad I can be here!!! |

I loooove Switzerland! It is so beautiful! I've only been there once and it was in college. We went to some touristy town and the name is escaping me right now. I have to go to France a few times a year for work normally although I've managed to avoid it this year. Does your DH still have family in France?
