I just complained about that blasted banner in the "what do you want" thread. I'll say it again: Two thumbs way down.

That is totally something the admin added. Actually, I didn't. This is a free discussion board, and that means ads unless I pay for it, which I can't really afford to do at this point unless the community contributes donations for it. I don't know why the ads didn't show up until just recently. I was actually wondering that myself! Perhaps it only happens once a board reaches a certain number of pageviews or something; I really don't know. It wasn't anything I changed in the settings. Personally, I would get rid of it, but again . . . that's not possible unless someone pays for ad-free credits. Tell you what, though; I do have one other option for how the ads display, so let me switch to that and see what you ladies think. |

Much better! It didn't really bug me except that it took up a ton of space. (plus, for real, I don't ever really complain about anything, so I hope nobody took my complaining as too awful!) Thank-you O Powerful Admin! |
