I just complained about that blasted banner in the "what do you want" thread. I'll say it again: Two thumbs way down.
Two thumbs up to randomness and thread evolution though!

True dat. Minimize it! hide it! Evaporate it! Color over it! no, don't do that. Unless it's with cool graffiti. That could rock. There's an app for everything, right? Where's the "graffiti over that lame-o banner" app?

That is totally something the admin added. I agree that it flows better without that added.

That is totally something the admin added. Actually, I didn't. This is a free discussion board, and that means ads unless I pay for it, which I can't really afford to do at this point unless the community contributes donations for it. I don't know why the ads didn't show up until just recently. I was actually wondering that myself! Perhaps it only happens once a board reaches a certain number of pageviews or something; I really don't know. It wasn't anything I changed in the settings. Personally, I would get rid of it, but again . . . that's not possible unless someone pays for ad-free credits. Tell you what, though; I do have one other option for how the ads display, so let me switch to that and see what you ladies think.

Okay, I think you may like this new option better . . . it's still an ad, but it's skinnier.

Thanks admin for switching! Do you think we need a mod squad so one person isn't in charge of all the "issues?"

Much better! It didn't really bug me except that it took up a ton of space. (plus, for real, I don't ever really complain about anything, so I hope nobody took my complaining as too awful!) Thank-you O Powerful Admin!
