I've met several, know a few pretty well from our secular humanist group, some only from online discussions, and a few I don't know. I'm not close to a lot of people the way many others are, but that's mainly because I'm pretty introverted and don't put myself out there as much.

I have met Jen. I rember us talking about being shy and I was very shy at an event we were at. I couldn't belive she said she was shy. Heck I couldn't belive I was at an event

I sent a text to Kel the other day asking if she saw it and if you were transgendered. LOL hehe That's funny! No, I'm not. I was just being silly. (I have nothing against transgendered people nor am I making fun of them -- thought I'd throw out that disclaimer  ) When I noticed that you could list your gender and it actually did something (put up a symbol) I got curious about what "male" did. Then I kind of liked that I was the only one I felt all special and stuff. Plus I'm a major dork! |

I am friends with a bunch, mostly from the SHHH MNO (T, Misty, U8, Jen, ALF, ebee, many more) There are others I've met only a couple times, so I'm not sure whether to call "friends" or acquaintances. And then there are a couple that are on my Facebook that I've still never met but still really feel they are friends (jendher and indybg).

Perhaps if I'd join the 21st century and get a FB account, I'd do better. But I'm secretly afraid that people (men) from my past would find me. Hmmm.

I've met quite a few. Mostly either from the "other place", or our SHH nights. I'm in the same boat as pitbull, I don't know if we're "friends", but I do love their company...I'm guessing it has to be mutual before you can be "friends", and we're not really on that level yet, so I guess acquaintances is okay for now I do love those girls though |

INdymusicmom, I am planning on it. Looking forward to it too Cin, I enjoy reading your posts. I had no idea you are new to boards, or to mama thing, you fit so well in. I am hoping once I meet you, my fear of flying in small planes will just vanish he he he I know Tracy...We met few times..And no, you do not have to be drunk to find her amuzing...(are you reading this Tracy?) And I met pitbull for few short minutes...I had no idea she was going to be at that event, but when I saw 2 redheads (her and her daughter), I knew it had to be her. I also met U8mycrayons there. You all seem to be fun bunch of great and unique women, I can not wait to meet ya all. |

indybg, I'm so impressed that you have 707 posts!! I'm one of those people who feels much more comfortable with face-to-face communication than written, so I don't tend to post that often. It took me over 3 years on the "other" site to reach 917 posts. Anyway, most of these super cool chicks I've met through the SHHH get-togethers, so I know Pitbull, u8mycrayons, ALF, joyce, idream, misty, kkjulian, MamaT, luvmybabyboy, cin, domesticgoddess, eclipchic, gina, etc. I think I named most of the regulars. Apologies if I forgot anyone. I'm still a newbie to the group. I've met several others once or twice and others are my FB friends.

I've met Robin (I agree, way too alike) xamberx, and I think that's it. I'm hoping that I can put more names to faces at the HMMNO. I'm friends with several people on FB, and definitely want to actually meet them IRL!
