I think they probably have some sort of automated system that picks up on certain keywords. That's my theory, anyway.
I figure that probably the only way to fully be able to control our content would be to pay for hosting and some bulletin board software. That way, we could do it however we liked. I'm going to need to get up to speed on how to do that, though. And I'm not sure about the costs either. Right now, I'm not in a position to be spending a ton of money on a board. I don't think hosting through someone like Go Daddy is all THAT expensive, but I've never had to set up a bulletin board myself before. No clue how difficult or costly that might be. However, it's something I'll be looking into. So for the time being, we're going to have to tame things down a little bit . . . grrrrrrrr . . .

One thing I can do in the settings is have the system automatically replace certain "bad" words with other "acceptable" words. (Which, by the way, I think I could have a TON of fun with if I wanted to be really naughty . . . )

We have that switch system on another proboard. Like male parts auto switch to a David statue graphic.

A domain should only be $10/year, but I have no idea how much software for the board would be. We could try something like Google Apps which comes free with a domain purchased through Google. Not sure if they have board software included, but I know they have a messenger, calendar, listserves, etc. We could also try a wiki, but I'm not sure how much those cost.
